Fa Li

I am an Assistant Professor in the Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin staring from Jan. 1, 2026. Before joining UT Austin, I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at Jackson Lab,Department of Earth System Science, Stanford University, working with Prof. Rob Jackson on the FLUXNET-CH4 V2.0-a global observational network of ecosystem carbon (CH4 and CO2)-water-energy fluxes through Global Carbon Project . I have been a researcher affiliated with Climate & Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and a Postdoc at Global Change Research Lab, University of Wisconsin, leveraging AI and remote sensing to advance wildfire science and land surface modeling .
